Tiny Home

Major Project

A work-in-progress major project exploring a compact, two-storey mini home designed in response to the growing demand for more affordable, efficient and sustainable ways of living. The project examines how thoughtful spatial planning can maximise functionality within a limited footprint while still creating a comfortable and considered home.

The design focuses on creating a flexible living environment that incorporates the essential functions of everyday life within a compact space, while maintaining a strong connection to natural materials, light and the surrounding environment.

The project was driven by the question: How can a small home provide everything a person needs without compromising comfort, connection or quality of life?

With housing affordability, environmental impact and changing lifestyles influencing the way people live, the project explores compact living as an alternative to traditional housing models. The design aims to demonstrate that a smaller footprint does not have to mean sacrificing functionality or the emotional experience of home, instead using efficient planning, multifunctional spaces and considered material choices to create a home that feels purposeful and inviting.
