hello!
My name is Ella O’Connor
I am an interior design undergraduate with a passion for residential design and the phenomenology of space. I am interested in creating interiors that go beyond aesthetics to shape how people feel, move and connect within their surroundings. My approach combines thoughtful spatial planning, materiality and visualisation to create spaces that are both functional and emotionally meaningful.
I will complete my Bachelor of Interior Design at Griffith University’s Queensland College of Art and Design (QCAD) in Brisbane December 2026, during my studies I also participated in Live Space, a work-integrated learning studio that provided experience working on real-world projects within a professional design environment. Through my studies, I have developed skills in SketchUp, Revit, Twinmotion and Photoshop, using these tools to communicate ideas and bring design concepts to life.
I am particularly drawn to residential design because of its ability to reflect individuality and create meaningful experiences through everyday spaces.
